Writing makes me feel better, me telling you this makes me feel better. At times my window of perception is dusty and old. At times I do not remember who I am. At times I hide from myself and the world. At times I’m not sure if both of my feet are on the ground or am I just dreaming all this time? Am I hallucinating? Delusional? At times I want to fly to a land other than my mind. Time is passing by so fast I don’t even recognize what day it is or does that even matter? Should I worry about the time and date? Oh Lord, Show me the time Oh Lord, show me my feet Oh Lord, Hold me as I near a cliff Oh Lord, touch my soul and save it from dying Oh Lord, forgive my evil ways, my evil lies, my evil traps set on my mind. Oh Lord, make me a new vestment that will last forever Oh Lord, make of me a light Oh Lord, I pray that I stay firm At times I cry, I pray, I sing, I rejoice, I laugh, I stand still as if I was alone in the world.
